(Hyattsville, MD / September 30,
2011) - HomeFree-USA, a HUD-approved housing
counseling intermediary, has been awarded
$250,000 in funding from Wells Fargo in support
of HomeFree-USA’s ongoing work to help
low-to-moderate income homeowners to prevent
foreclosure and strengthen their financial
status.
“HomeFree-USA is thrilled to
receive this contribution from Wells Fargo,”
said HomeFree-USA president Marcia Griffin.
“The need for foreclosure prevention and
financial counseling continues to increase

the current constraints of the economy. We
applaud Wells Fargo and are grateful for its
commitment to homeownership and the work
agencies like HomeFree-USA do to sustain
individuals, families and
communities.”
“Financial
challenges are building for housing and credit
counseling services at a time when consumer

Kimberly Jackson, executive director of the

helping Americans as they face financial
