City of Bowie Offers 2 New Mortgage Assistance Programs

The City of Bowie is offering two grant programs designed to help those who are purchasing their first home in the City. These grants provide closing cost assistance to qualified first time homebuyers.

The "City Workforce" Mortgage Assistance Program provides grants to employees of the City of Bowie while the "Bowie First" Mortgage Assistance Program is for teachers and police officers employed anywhere in Prince George's County. Both programs provide $2,000 toward closing costs for eligible workers who are buying their first home in Bowie.
