HomeFree-USA is grateful for the generous support of its Partners. Working together HomeFree-USA and its Partners and supporters have made the dream of homeownership a reality for thousands of working class families. Through the homebuying process and beyond, HomeFree-USA and its Partners provide the education, tools and resources emerging market homeowners need to ensure successful homeownership.

Our partners include:

"Unless a mortgage is seen as a home, unless a business loan is seen as livelihood, unless an initiative is seen as a child's future, a bank will never be seen as anything more than a bank.”

Chevy Chase partnered with HomeFree-USA in 1995. As a founding partner, Chevy Chase Bank and its mortgage affiliates have enjoyed the benefits of HomeFree-USA’s success over the past decade, funding over $146 million in mortgage loans to HomeFree-USA members and establishing HomeFree-USA as a leading source of financing for low-to-moderate income homeowners.

State Farm Bank is unique in its nontraditional approach to banking. Its commitment to meet the financial needs of its customers and communities by helping people realize their dreams is characteristic of how State Farm operates. The Bank has experienced strong growth and is ranked among the top 1% of banks nationwide. Functioning without retail branches since receiving its charter in 1999, State Farm Bank offers service through participating State Farm Bank agents, 24 X 7 call-in service through the Bank Response Center, and online. It follows the same "good neighbor" philosophy of its parent, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company -- which has a long history of helping to build communities by expanding upon conventional ways of doing business.

State Farm Bank supports the HomeFree-USA Crusade for Homeownershiptm and sponsors a HomeFree-USA pre-purchase education class, helping to meet the challenge of expanding homeownership by offering exclusive information to HomeFree-USA clients.

"Option One is a residential mortgage lender and a subsidiary of H&R Block. With our help, many of our customers achieve the dream of homeownership or access their home equity to remodel, send their kids to college or consolidate high interest-rate debt.

At Option One, we work in an environment of empowerment and collaboration that keeps us focused on doing the best possible job for our customers. This unique culture makes us different from other lenders."

“The nation's homeownership rate has reached a record high, with more families of all racial and ethnic backgrounds owning homes than ever before. Still, less than half of America's minority households have achieved the dream of homeownership. Building on our strong record of expanding access to the mortgage market, Freddie Mac has launched a number of high-impact initiatives to accelerate the growth in minority homeownership. Our initiatives range from best-in-class homebuyer outreach and education to new technologies and mortgage products designed to put families into homes they can afford and keep.”

Through a generous grant from Freddie Mac, HomeFree-USA and its affiliates were able to help thousands of Gulf Coast homeowners set their lives back on track after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

“Since its inception in 1934, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) has been a door to homeownership for 34 million American individuals and families. FHA provides access to reasonably priced mortgages and fair terms, as well as many options for keeping Americans in their homes. We look forward to its continued role in making the dream of homeownership achievable for all Americans.

“Learn how you too, can achieve the American dream--how FHA is your door to homeownership.”

Atlanta Housing Authority

“Atlanta Housing Authority is organized under Georgia law to develop, acquire, lease and operate affordable housing for low-income families. Today, AHA is the largest housing agency in Georgia and one of the largest in the nation, serving approximately 50,000 people.

“Our ability to adapt to change by cultivating strategic partnerships and developing innovative solutions has made us the national leader in the transformation of public housing.

“In 1996, AHA created the financial and legal model for mixed-income, mixed-finance transactions that include public-assisted housing as a component. This model is used by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's HOPE VI revitalization program. In Atlanta, it has resulted in six vibrant mixed-income communities, with three more in the predevelopment phase.”

HomeFree-USA is offering homebuying preparation classes and other assistance to traditionally underserved populations in Atlanta through the HomeFree-USA Atlanta Homeownership Center.

"Countrywide Bank customers benefit from the stability, dependability and high-quality customer service upon which Countrywide has built its well-regarded reputation as a diversified financial services provider and a national leader in helping millions of American families realize the dream of homeownership. The company prides itself on giving customers what they truly care about."

“Our mission is to build and revitalize homes, businesses and communities.  We are the County Executive’s catalyst for positive change in housing and community development.  We work in partnership with the Prince George’s County Council, the federal government, the State of Maryland, the County’s municipalities, the residents of the County, businesses and Non-Profit Organizations and other stakeholders to permanently reduce the quality of life gaps between the haves and the have-nots by increasing self sufficiency and creating legacy wealth for County residents.   Specifically, we foster and implement creative and sustainable solutions that increase homeownership, provide rental assistance, improve housing quality, expand housing accessibility, stabilize affordability and support the rebuilding of the established communities of Prince George’s County.  Additionally, we support the County’s goal to end chronic homelessness, expand housing and services for our seniors and our special needs populations, create good jobs and launch viable new businesses.”

“Our commitment starts with helping individuals and families develop the skills they need to become homeowners. But it doesn't stop there. We also are committed to recognizing and rewarding the good work being done in America's cities, towns, and rural areas to provide decent, safe, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families. We provide prestigious educational opportunities for those in the affordable housing and community development field. And we support special programs to raise awareness — and much-needed funds — to prevent and end homelessness in our hometown of Washington, D.C.
